We are updating the IP addresses used by Sentry’s ingestion endpoints. If your applications rely on outbound IP allow-listing, firewall rules, or other egress controls that reference our current ingestion IPs, you will need to update your configuration.
On Tuesday, January 13th — 08:00 to 19:00 UTC, we will updating the IP addresses associated with the following ingestion endpoints:
- .ingest.sentry.io
- .ingest.de.sentry.io
- .ingest.us.sentry.io
The new IP addresses are:
- 34.160.81.0/32
- 34.102.210.18/32
- 2600:1901:0:5e8a::/64
- 2600:1901:0:7edb::/64
You can add these addresses to your existing policies ahead of the migration day to ensure a smooth transition when the update happens.
We will be conducting a 30 minute brownout on Monday January 5th - 15:30-16:00 UTC to let you know if everything migrated over properly. During the brownout, the ingestion DNS records will be modified to additionally return the new ingestion IP addresses. If your egress controls block the new addresses, you may see intermittent connection errors.
