Performance and Insights are merging

Performance and Insights are merging

The links under Insights (Queries, Requests, Assets, Web Vitals, Caches, Queues, App Starts, Screen Loads, LLM Monitoring) have been removed, replaced with Frontend, Backend, Mobile, and AI.

No functionality has been taken away, the old Insights pages have simply been organized under each of these categories:

Along with reworking the navigation, a landing page has been introduced for each domain. These landing pages are similar to the old Performance landing page, but are filtered to show transactions relevant to the given domain. Mobile shows transactions such as ui.load, and ui.action.click, Backend shows transactions like http.server and db, etc.

We will continue to iterate on each of these domain focused landing pages, surfacing the data in Sentry most interesting to each domain, e.g., Web Vitals for frontend developers, database query performance for backend developers.

Once user become accustomed with the new navigation, we will be removing the Performance link from navigation, noting that its functionality will be available on each of the domain focused landing pages.
